Me....a Blog?

wow I'm so excited!!

I finally have a chance to write in my blog when I'm not totally exhausted.

Soooo, It's been such a long time and so much has happened. Where do I start? UMMMMMM...

Well there is always Alex who is 6 wks old on Thurs. He is soo cute, not cute like Evan, a different kind of cute. I don't know how to describe it. I'll just tell you that both my boys are going to be very handsome. I'm not really surprised by this, maybe I should be, but I'm not. Alex likes to make sounds like a horse, so we call him our little horse. He's a bit spastic and he wiggles a lot. This make me think that he will roll over and crawl earlier than Evan did. Who knows. We will see.

What else? Jeremy has resigned from his job at HSC and will be freelancing fulltime. It's a nice to think of having him home all the time. I know that the boys will really benefit from this. As will I, I'm sure. It'll be great! This change in Jeremy job means that we can basically move to anywhere in the world that has highspeed internet. So we have decided to seriously look at moving away from Winterpeg (brrrrrr), and specifically to St. Stephens, NB. We have a friend there (which is more than we can say about this place), The weather is much better(how could it not be right?), the housing is cheap and apparently the people are really friendly(not just "HI" friendly either).

Jeremy will be flying out there the second week of Feb. to look into it a bit more and make sure that our Salesman friend 'Jake', is not wearing rose coloured glasses. I really thought it should have been me going, as Jeremy can be sold on almost anything, but alas it would be to difficult, as I would have to bring Alex and Jer would not get any work done having to look after Evan while I was gone.(wow, what a sentence)

Assuming everything goes well on Jer's trip we will be subletting our apartment, selling our car lease, hiring a moving company, getting a place to stay in St. Stephen, packing, buying plane tickets and arriving there for at the latest end of March. This is a lot of change, but we have tons of Peace regarding the whole situation.

There's more can you believe that there's more? Jeremy is getting a brand new Laptop. Get this someone else is buying it for him. He will be traveling a lot in Feb, and since he'll be working from home he doesn't have vacation time so he will need to be able to take his work with him. We wanted to buy it our selves, but saving all sorts of money for the move didn't really allow us to. So Jeremy jokingly decided to tell people who read his blog that he would blog for someone for a year if they would buy him a laptop,a nd someone took him up on it. Craziness!!!!

On top of all this Christmas is in 4 days and we are heading to Kenora to Jeremy's Stepmom's family. It should be fun, I hope.

I'm sure there is more, but I think that that is enough for now.

I almost forgot God is soooooo GOOD!!

I love mail

And today wasn't just any old mail it was mail from an unexpected source and with real meaning.

I got a parcel that I wasn't expecting, from someone I haven't talk to in years. It was a quilt that one of my Aunt's had made for Alex. The quilt is made of material that was my Grandma's, which is really cool, because she passed away a few years ago.

When I was back in Ontario this summer, another one of my Aunts gave me a sweater that Grandma had made for my cousin. It's nice to have something for the boys form her, even though she's not around anymore.

Long time no see.

It's been awhile since I've written. It's been a very busy couple of weeks.

Remembrance day saw us at the hospital, meeting our new son Alex. He's a big boy, but not fat. He's really solid. The day after he arrived, my mother in law arrived, and stayed for nine days...... It was nice to have her, and also nice to have one less person in the house when she left.

We went from being three people to six.... It's a lot to take in. Especially for Evan. He didn't know what to do with himself.

Naomi has been an amazing help, I am so glad that she is here. I can't imagine what it would have been like without all of her help.

Evan is Enjoying his little brother. When Alex cries from his room. Evan turns around with a big smile and says this this or Alex(his version of it anyways). He is always coming up to him, giving him kissing, wanting to cuddle with him and waving at him and saying "hi aliks".

Alex is growing so quickly and he is starting to get really chubby. I guess he's going to be like Evan that way.

I guess that all for know and I'll try to keep this reasonably updated.
