Evan Evan Evan

Today Evan was walking around going mom mom mom...... So I decided to say his name back to him in kind, and everytime that I do he goes mom mom mom.

It's like a game, and kinda funny.

In the News....wow

This week out of the blue a journalist from Canwest called here wanting to talk to Jeremy about the selling of his blog. That night he had a 1 hours interview with her. On Satuarday the story was published in the Vancouver Sun, along with other paper across the country.

I think that this is really cool. She even mentioned me breifly. I've never been in the newspaper before.

Funny boy

Evan was really funny today, well he's funny most days but I thought that I'd write about this one. He was in the bathroom at the bath tub, trying to reach into it to get some toys on the bottom(empty bath tub). He got on his tip toes leaning over, and that wasn't working so he lifted his legs up, and I guess he must have tumble into the tub, because a split second later when I looked to see how he was doing, he was sat in the tub with this baffled look on his face. After he figured it was ok he was quit content to sit there and play with (and throw out) the toys that he had tried so had to get at. It was really amusing.

Ah.... The beauty

I may not like Winnipeg much, but one thing I can say about it is the sunsets are beautiful. I hadn't noticed much over the summer, because they set so late. Now that the days are shorter I am reminded of the beauty. It's one of the things that kept me out of depression when we first moved here in the middle of a stinky winter.

Update for the masses :)

I've been very tired lately. I have about 10 weeks until the baby is born and I guess that's why I've been so tired.

A lot of things have happened since I last posted I just haven't felt like writing anything, I still don't, but I'll try.

Saturday was a big day. We got the first of three deliveries of our furniture. It was our bedroom stuff, a dresser and night tables. They look very nice and smell nice too. I haven't had new dresser since I was a kid so I never thought about a dresser smelling nice, unless you put something(not smelly socks) in it of course. In the evening Jeremy took me to dinner at a very nice restaurant called "Tavern in the Park". It was very posh. I haven't had food that good in a long time, if at all.

I had venison and Jer had duck, I've grown up with both, so it was no luxury, but I never had them taste sooo good. The reason that I picked the plate is because it had a sweet and sour demi glaze and I wanted to know what it was. And man was it good. You know how when you get a plate that you like it is usually one thing that really stands out. Well on this plate everything was so yummy and went together so good......I think I need a chef, so I can eat like this all the time.

Anyways I think that's enough rambling for one day.

Look like a lot of fun!

I was watching "The Amazing Race" last night and I saw the coolest thing. All of the people in the race had to do this thing called Zorbing. Apparently it's the lastest craze in New Zealand and it looks like a lot of fun.

You get inside this plastic bubble and roll down a hill. It looks really cool and if I'm ever in New Zealand I am definitely doing it.

Birthday Bliss

Yesterday was my birthday and it was a really good day. My wonderful husband got up really early and make me breakfast, which was very yummy. I had a nice nap. My dad and brother called, I didn't get to talk to either of them, but sometimes it's just nice to know that your being thought about. Especially by people who don't normally call. Evan and I went shopping for presents for me(my mom send me a gift certificate to walmart), I got myself some really nice hand cream, a candle and probably my favorite game(scrabble, I'm not very good, but I really like it). On the way we stopped by Timmy's and I had some things that I have been wanting to try for a while, they didn't end being any good, but it was good to try them anyway.

After shopping at Walmart Jer cam to pick us up and we ended up spending 3 or 4 hrs picking out furniture for our home. All of which was very exciting. After we went to Quizno's and had supper. All in all a very full and fun day.

Excitement

I'm so excited that I can't sleep(hopefully I'm not keeping Jeremy up). We went out yesterday and bought a bunch of furniture that we had planned to buy like 6 months ago. I have been lying in bed thinking of where I'm going to put it all. Sooooo exciting!!!

We are getting 7 new pieces of furniture and they will go in 2 or 3 different rooms. So it's a lot of rearranging. Have I mentioned that I am so excited. Well I am, It's like a dream come true, and it's change, and I like change(most of the time).

Tonight I got to go on a date with my husband. It was nice it's the first time that we've been out with out our son since our anniversery in May. Wow... long time eh! Well, it was very nice. We went to see a movie(Vanity Fair). I liked it, but I don't think that Jeremy did. It's a little like Pride and Prejudice. The girl doesn't really learn anything from her mistakes and well the she actually ends up getting what she was sceeming for, which is kinda sad.

Anyways our babysitter turned out to be a success, so that is a good thing and we will be able to go out more often now. Like for my birthday! I'm very excited.

Getting very tired, must sleep.

I suck

Yesterday I gave up my little secret to Jeremy, in such a silly way to. I was asking about why people don't have RSS feeds and he explained it to me, so I said so I probably dont' have one then and he was like " why would you have one". I was trying so hard not to tell him I wanted to see how long it would take him to find out on his own. Ohh well the cat is out of the bag now and I can ask him all the question I want now. It's good for me, maybe not so good for him.

Sometime I wonder if he gets sick of knowing everything. I understand why he doesn't just volunteer info to people. I used to tell people "Oh, Jer can help you with that", He didn't like it very much. Well I try not to do that anymore. That's called growing in relationship.

If anyone who doesn't know me well reads this you will soon find out that I don't stay on topic very well. One of those things Jer is still getting used to after 7 years of know me.
