Life is really Changing... and it sucks

Jer and I have been separated since January, and he is moving out today..... I really want it not to be true! I feel like I'm losing a part of myself. Life has been rough (not Bad but not good) in our marriage for 2 or three years.

Anyway I need to escape from real life tonight, so I rented a movie(New in Town), and got some
comfort food(Arizona, licorice and Smart popcorn).

Tomorrow will be better I hope, at least I have the boys and the dog to make me laugh every once in a while.

He he he

On this relaxing Saturday morning the boys came into my room. Said 'I'm hungry' and as I contemplated what to say about that Evan found my phone and started to show Alex the games (they love any kind of electronic game).

Alex eventually got to play.

Then I hear Evan say 'Wow, have you played this at school?' Alex responded 'No, I think that God just made me this good at brick breaker' lol

Alex is really good at puzzles, I guess we can add brick breaker to his list of skills ;-)

FFuunnnny!!!

So Alex and I were packing to go away for a night, and he decides he's going to fold some pants(that were already folded) to put into the suitcase. While he is folding the pants he says "I'm a gene-ass at doing this". I was like "What". Then it came to me, he meant genius. So I say "yes Alex you are a genius @ folding pants. LOL

This is to funny, he's only 3.

BBQ time

The weather is getting so nice, now (after such a retched winter, it just went on and on). I've been starting to think of having people around for bbq's. It's should be fun, but Jer is the one who does it the best so I'll have to wait until he's up for the idea I guess. He's a great cook and it's nice every once and a while to experience that blessing again. The bbq was so great last year I'm glad that Jer had the idea of getting it. We used it so much.

The boys are in the backyard enjoying the new sand that we just picked up today from Home Depot. It's great when they play well together. I love hearing the laughter flow in through the window. Summers Great!

This is the note that I just put on the door. We are going to do some kind of mock 'trick or treat' in the back for the boys. It should be fun.

Evan Starts school

Well it is now 2 wks into Evans first year of school. I really wanted to have post for the first day, but I guess better late than never. I think that should be the theme for this blog. Seems I'm also doing things way after the fact..... oh well.


So Evan first day was good. There were lots of kids who came out crying, I'm so glad it wasn't Evan I wouldn't have taken it well. I thought that I was going to be super sad about it, but I wasn't. I was a little disconcerted when I turned around to check what he was doing (before rounding the corning of the school),and he was following the teacher around. I nearly walked back to make sure he was all right.

After school he talked my ear off about the things he did and what I had to make sure to do. I was so glad that he is a talker at that point.

Things that he did during his first 2 wks
-look at frogs(in the classroom)
-read books
-play at the water table
-learn to wash his hands before snack(I'm a bad mom ;0)
-zip his backpack
-go to the library
-go to the gym

and I'm sure more i just can't think of right now!

Introvert

I just read this amazing article about introverts. I am an introvert, and if Jer isn't I'll be surprised. It is very enlightening.
