A Child is Born

Posted by Jeremy:

Mom and baby are doing fine. Alexander Eden Wright was born yesterday (Remembrance Day) at 4:37pm. The initial labour went well, but the actual birth process saw us in the emergency area once again. Alexander was born healthy and mom is doing well. He was 9 pounds 7 ounces, 21 inches long and very pudgy and cute.

I'm sure Momma will update this once she gets back sometime Saturday :)

Count down

So the count down is on. The baby could come any time now. Although I feel like it will be later than sooner.

At the Dr's appointment on Thurs. We were told that this Dr will induce 7 to 10 days after the due, so that means that the latest that the baby can arrive is the 26th. Sometimes I'm very ok with the feeling that it won't arrive until later, (because I am enjoying the time with my family) and other times I wish it would come right know so the pain will stop and I can start recovering from this foreign state my body is in.

Also we are getting closer and closer to have a pick of names for the baby which is nice. We just need a second name if it is a boy. I would write them down, but I just don't feel to right now. Maybe later, or maybe you'll just have to wait like me ;)

The help we had been waiting for has arrived.

On Thursday, I went to pick up the long awaited Naomi. It is great to have her here as I am finding I need more and more help lately. My body is making me very uncomfortable and so it is had to do the things that I am used to doing.

Also Evan has taken to her like children do to candy. The first couple of days he very hyper. It's interesting to watch him interact with other people. He loves repetitiveness and it much easy to be repetitive when their are three people around to repeat things.

Gross

SO, my friend Jesse is in China right now teaching English to children.

He told me before he went that he was going to eat Dog and that when he did he would tell me. Well yesterday it turns out that he ate dog and he said that it was very tasty. He did say there were to many bones though. And that is what I think is the grossest.

I can't imagine eating something that we consider pets. For some reason I think that the bones would remind me all the more that it is dog.

Feeling good

I just woke up from a nap, with out any interruption. I was woken up by Evan or an alarm or discomfort. I just woke up, cause my body said that's enough. It has been a long time since this has happened and I am really enjoying it right now.

Lots of things need to be done, but I'm just enjoying the peace and general warm feeling that I'm having right now.

Hopefully the rest of the day feels like this.

Thanx God.
